At Hope Church, we seek to place a high value on community. Life is a gift to be shared and enjoyed with others. Friendship, celebrations, supportive and caring relationships, hanging out and sharing meals need to be at the heart of who we are. Sometimes it is thought that the church is a building or a meeting but it is really about people. Hope Church is a place where all different kinds of people can belong and be involved at the level that feels safe for them. It’s a church where you can be yourself and don’t have to pretend to have your life perfectly sorted. We’re not that good ourselves. We are messy people on a journey together, helping each other along the way.
At the heart of our community life together are Home Groups. These are smaller groups of people who gather in a home every other week to share a meal, conversation, friendship, discussion about spiritual issues, and prayer. Home Groups are places where strong and lasting friendships can be built.
Our Home Groups are gospel communities whose aim is to share life and faith together in a variety of ways that create natural opportunities to introduce a wider circle of friends and others to the Christian faith.
We meet across the north of Tampa with a variety of times and places, so hopefully, there is one group that you can fit into. Please speak to Pastor Chris (813.598.6483) or contact the group directly for more information:
